Success...

The feeling after you've accomplished is so brilliant that sometimes you question yourself, 'Have i really done this?'
That's the same question I'm asking myself at the moment, but obviously i have. I less than a day I sold a USED Ted Baker Coat and my buyer has to come and COLLECT it too. I'm ecstatic :)

There's the proof, well actually the proof is in my sold items list. I'm gonna be putting lots more stuff on ebay now that i know it works :)

Silly Old Bear...

Hello.
As said in my previous post i have to do a post on Winnie the Pooh. He has been a great character throughout my childhood not only because i thought he was extremely cute and most of my friends associated me with him in primary school but he has entertained me throughout my boredom as a child. When my mum passed her driving test she bought a HUGE Winnie the Pooh Bear (huge at the time because i was relatively small) , which i still keep in my room. I've shared many memories with him, for he was my first pupil learning twinkle twinkle little star and then falling over just as we reached the end of the song (he had issues sitting upright). Anyway, i thought I'd inspire you with a few A.A. Milne quotes, that I've grown rather fond to lately.

Winnie the Pooh and Piglet.

“If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you.”
― A.A. MilneWinnie-the-Pooh

“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”
― A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh

“Sometimes,' said Pooh, 'the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.”
― A.A. Milne

“I think we dream so we don’t have to be apart for so long. If we’re in each other’s dreams, we can be together all the time.”
― A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh

“You can't stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes.”
― A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh

“Weeds are flowers too, once you get to know them.”
― A.A. Milne

“Did you ever stop to think, and forget to start again?”
― A.A. Milne

“I'm not lost for I know where I am. But however, where I am may be lost.”
― A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh

“Rivers know this: there is no hurry. We shall get there some day.”
― A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh

“How do you spell 'love'?" - Piglet
"You don't spell it...you feel it." - Pooh”
― A.A. Milne

“Promise me you'll never forget me because if I thought you would, I'd never leave.”
― A.A. Milne

“If there ever comes a day when we can't be together, keep me in your heart. I'll stay there forever.”
― A.A. Milne

“What do you like doing best in the world, Pooh?"
"Well," said Pooh, "what I like best-" and then he had to stop and think. Because although Eating Honey was a very good thing to do, there was a moment just before you began to eat it which was better than when you were, but he didn't know what it was called. And then he thought that being with Christopher Robin was a very good thing to do, and having Piglet near was a very friendly thing to have; and so, when he had thought it all out, he said, "What I like best in the whole world is Me and Piglet going to see You, and You saying 'What about a little something?' and Me saying, 'Well, I shouldn't mind a little something, should you, Piglet,' and it being a hummy sort of day outside, and birds singing."
"I like that too," said Christopher Robin, "but what I like doing best is Nothing.”

Chilly nights, pretty lights...

Yesterday, my mum took me to London to get a hair cut, to be honest you can't really make out any difference, but it was really fun, the hairdresser used this really cool heater thing to dry my hair so it didn't go all frizzy - her name was Nicola :D.

After that my mums friend came to meet us and we went to the Patisserie Valerie to eat YUMMY cakes.

Pretty + Yummy! But the icing made me feel sick afterwards.

this photo is awful but oh well. (my mummy got a haircut too)
Then we went shopping on Oxford Street to buy COATS - how exciting... we spent 3 hours buying 3 coats and went to like 5 different shops!(Debenhams, Forever 21, New Look, Dorothy Perkins, French Connection, Jane Norman...) it was tiring at the end but then again too much shopping is tiring, isn't it?
The Lighting was really pretty hence the title, oh yh i forgot my coat that day because it was sunny in the morning yet it wssnt actually that cold in the evening.

This was a little street next to miss.Selfridge leading to Carnaby street i think.  I was the one to notice it! :)

M&S decorations.

These are all the miss. Selfridge window displays they were the best!

This photo is all SQUIGLY

There was a SNOW MACHINE in this one!!!

Soz this pic is really sweet!
i introduce you to Keyla's Hobby - SLEEPING.

Be right Back...

Hi PEEPS.
Sheesh Kebab i haven't blogged in ages, but I'm back (brb the title get it...??? :S) and i thought i would have an inspiring come back. Firstly, let's have an update on life in general, the universe in its wholeness and everything in its everythingness :) (HGTG reference). So year 10 is pretty cool i guess, well the gaps between tests which in the past few weeks there have been very few of... did that even make sense. Basically, i like it when there aren't tests every other day or everyday. I'm eating an apple :) Nothing else has really changed, I went to India for Diwali in my half-term hols, I've started horse riding, I've missed every single swimming lesson, one due to Breaking Dawn, Secret circle has stopped till January 5th which is annoying, after months my flute teacher wrote 'Excellent in my note book which im v. happy about, i'm reading !!! Heist Society, i still want a Graphics Tablet, my cousins moved out to BISCESTER VILLAGE!, some random KGS girl sat next to me on the bus and i found my coat (i thought id lost it and my dad found it). That's it really nothing else new, is there???
Oki Doki, oh yh i keep saying that and 'sheesh kebab' (which when said by Rachel is hilarious!).
ok i've now ruined my post, it was meant to be about inspiration and stuff never mind. I'll do a separate one.

Patience, it's an art

Recently, i found the portfolio of an artist called Erik Johansson, its pretty deep stuff. Or at least i think. So i will give you the pleasure of seeing his photos and hopefully inspire you to think outside the box.

That looks fun!

I added in a few quotes because i promised someone I'd make it inspirational, so there we go.

Hello World of Blogging.

Hello Readers of Amruni's blog.

Amruni would like me to point out that this is not her writing, but me, as she thinks I will write things that will make her sound like a freak. So, for clarity, I am Rachel, and she has kindly allowed me access to her blog. Well, she hasn't really but I'm on her laptop and it logs in automatically. Now I'm actually writing a blog post, I have no idea what to write about. I could write about clouds, but I doubt anyone is interested. Well, people might be interested in looking at pretty clouds, but obviously not many people are interested in knowing their names. Surely clouds want people to know their names? That is, if the names that we give them are their true names. Would it be better for a cloud to be known by a name that wasn't its own, or should a cloud just be happy that anyone bothers to name it?Of course, the entire concept that inanimate objects have true names is stolen from Eragon, but it does make sense. If one assumes that souls make sense. Which as I am no longer a true atheist, I can.  A cloud cannot be classified as an object though. The word 'object' implies something permanent. A cloud dissipates so quickly that it's more of a thing: the average life of a cloud is ten minutes. But then one thinks that a pavement is not an object, and that is undoubtedly a permanent thing. As is a nose. But if one tries to call a nose an object, it sounds strangely wrong. Maybe that's because a nose is attached to a body, making it only one part of a much larger system of 'things'.

Anyway, sorry for the rambling. If only one could blog on typewriters. That would be much more fun, typing's incredibly monotonous. It says that 'blog' is not a word. I wonder if I've spelt it wrong. Hmmm.
So farewell, world of blogging.
Hopefully, our paths will one again cross sometime in the foreseeable future.
It's quiz night tonight. What Fun!

Baking is fun...

Hello,
Today my cousin and i decided to bake a cake, just for the fun of it. Last week, we attempted carrot cake, but it wasn't a great success because it tasted all floury and gooey and the icing wasn't too great either. So today we thought we'd keep it simple and we made a fresh cream cake, which by the way tastes YUM!
although we did learn that you should use Single Cream for the cream on the cake instead of double cream because that makes the cream to think and clumpy, but it tastes the same. Anyway, here are some pics of my fun baking time...

These are my flour domes...

or maybe i'll call them flour igloos

my mummy chopping mushrooms and my cousins mixing the batter...

 And voila....
Our cake. It has pineapple butterflies...

Strawberry fans (you can't see them very well but the
strawberrys are sliced into a pretty fan shape) ...

Well, that was that, i hope to do cooler cakes but this was a lot of fun and tastes YUM YUMMMM.

Incy, Wincy Spider...

Hello,
These aren't the most pleasing pictures to look at but I put a lot of courage and effort in standing still and putting the camera so close to this spider, SO you have to look at them now!

I've seen this spidey TWICE now, in my garden same place, he has a very big spider web. Unfortunately, everytime i attempt to take a picture of him from the front he crawls back to the fence. ODD

Here's a pretty rose in my garden, its REALLY tall

English Doodles...

Hello,
Okay so maybe its not the best idea to doodle in english lessons, especially when learning Shakespeare's Macbeth, or maybe it is, seeing as i do know the story and have understood everything that is going on up till this point of our lesson and my english doodles are always my BEST. anyway, i've been very busy producing my latest piece of art work and finally it is COMPLETE and edited. So please enjoy.... :)

This is in the editing stage: notice my names still on!
Editing Part 2: notice two sides are stuck together and my names is disappearing :O

Final Complete work: notice NO NAME :D

I really want a Graphic Tablet, there's this really nice one from Wacom its £69.99 though, i might ask it for Christmas but i'll see. It'll make my drawing, designing and Cartooning life sooo much easier.

there it is, the one i want. I'm planning on making more cartoon book cover story' (i need to work on the name). Hopefully i can upload more on my blog then :D
