Procrastination...

Ahhh, someone should write a poem called, 'Ode to Procrastination'. I believe its a skill that everyone develops as they grow older, but even more everyone has adapted their procrastination differently. This post is procrastination from doing my english CA :S

As some or none, since no one reads this blog may know, I've just returned from a wedding :D My cousins to be precise, twas in India hence I left last Friday and returned yesterday morning. As my first proper Indian wedding, the experience was amazing and unforgettable, not only because of all the celebration but my cousins also make my visits worthwhile and memorable. There were several moments that I will cherish forever including the endless dancing on the engagement night, diligent attempts to steal the grooms shoes (a tradition that we failed to achieve because his friends had hidden them in the car before hand, although our efforts were not unrecognized as one of them acknowledged us at the end of the three day celebration) and of course, the usual business of nonsense with my cousins in no better location than a HOTEL!!!

I love hotels, we ordered room service on the first night :D I should explain, that our parents were really encouraging the prospect of room service but on the first night none of us were hungry (this is my two cousin sisters, were all of the same age) and so we decided not to eat anything for dinner, im not sure why they didnt, but in my case, just looking at food made my tummy tumble. So as you can imagine, after around two hours of non-stop dancing we were famished, thus we ordered something to eat downstairs at the reception after paying a visit to our mums room (we three were in one room while our other cousins were across the corridor in the room opposite and our mums were in the rooms on the floor above.). Our visit had two prime reasons, i needed to return my outfit i had worn that evening and to ask if permission to order food. My cousins know that if they want something the person to ask for an optimistic response is my mum, simply because she's the youngest of our aunts and well shes most likely to say yes. surprisingly though, she said NO! anyway, I decided to take some money out of her purse because i also know that she wouldnt want us to stay hungry and so i reached into her purse in the pitch black and took out what i thought was a bare 200 rupees (thats just under £3), however, i was shocked to see when we left the room that i had actually taken out 1500 rupees :S oppppsssss, (thats just under £20) sure it doesnt seem like much in pounds but it sure felt like a lot, anyway it was a good thing that i had taken out such a wholesome amount else we wouldnt have been able to afford much.

After ordering our food we ran the hot tap to the tub in the bathroom, having decided that we wanted to massage our feet since we had been wearing heels all morning and even danced in them for a while - BAD IDEA. When our food finally came the staff-man-service-guy was looking very... odd and rather happy, strangely happy :S anyway, he gave us the wrong change... I got very annoyed at this, how dare they think were so incapable that we wouldn't realise we were given the wrong change, now that I think of it we should have asked for a receipt. Anyway, we very quickly finished the food but having ordered too much half a plate was left on the table, thats probably the only regret we had, that last half plate gave a sickening after smell whenever we went near it and the hotel staff wouldnt even come to clear it up!

I'm being told off for blogging now, and i agree ive procrastinated enough, so I guess I should start my English. Byee... sorry for boring you with this irrelevant story. :)

Success...

The feeling after you've accomplished is so brilliant that sometimes you question yourself, 'Have i really done this?'
That's the same question I'm asking myself at the moment, but obviously i have. I less than a day I sold a USED Ted Baker Coat and my buyer has to come and COLLECT it too. I'm ecstatic :)

There's the proof, well actually the proof is in my sold items list. I'm gonna be putting lots more stuff on ebay now that i know it works :)

Chilly nights, pretty lights...

Yesterday, my mum took me to London to get a hair cut, to be honest you can't really make out any difference, but it was really fun, the hairdresser used this really cool heater thing to dry my hair so it didn't go all frizzy - her name was Nicola :D.

After that my mums friend came to meet us and we went to the Patisserie Valerie to eat YUMMY cakes.

Pretty + Yummy! But the icing made me feel sick afterwards.

this photo is awful but oh well. (my mummy got a haircut too)
Then we went shopping on Oxford Street to buy COATS - how exciting... we spent 3 hours buying 3 coats and went to like 5 different shops!(Debenhams, Forever 21, New Look, Dorothy Perkins, French Connection, Jane Norman...) it was tiring at the end but then again too much shopping is tiring, isn't it?
The Lighting was really pretty hence the title, oh yh i forgot my coat that day because it was sunny in the morning yet it wssnt actually that cold in the evening.

This was a little street next to miss.Selfridge leading to Carnaby street i think.  I was the one to notice it! :)

M&S decorations.

These are all the miss. Selfridge window displays they were the best!

Patience, it's an art

Recently, i found the portfolio of an artist called Erik Johansson, its pretty deep stuff. Or at least i think. So i will give you the pleasure of seeing his photos and hopefully inspire you to think outside the box.

Go Your Own Road

Anlagd Översvämning : Artificial Flooding

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away

Arbeta på Havet : Working at the Sea

Lazy Dogs

Fresh Frozen Fish

Wet Dreams on Open Water

Zip City

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass... it’s about learning to dance in the rain

Road Worker's Coffee Break

The greater the obstacle, the more glory in overcoming it.

Häng Havet på väggen : Hang the Sea on the Wall

Big Laundry Day

kk, those were kl, but this is just awsome.
Erik Johansson, created an opticall illusion somewhere in Stockholm where there appears to be a whole in the ground and one triangular tile is on the verge of falling of into the whole, he calls it...

'Mind your step'

That looks fun!
i see experimentation!

I added in a few quotes because i promised someone I'd make it inspirational, so there we go.

Baking is fun...

Hello,
Today my cousin and i decided to bake a cake, just for the fun of it. Last week, we attempted carrot cake, but it wasn't a great success because it tasted all floury and gooey and the icing wasn't too great either. So today we thought we'd keep it simple and we made a fresh cream cake, which by the way tastes YUM!
although we did learn that you should use Single Cream for the cream on the cake instead of double cream because that makes the cream to think and clumpy, but it tastes the same. Anyway, here are some pics of my fun baking time...

These are my flour domes...

or maybe i'll call them flour igloos

my mummy chopping mushrooms and my cousins mixing the batter...

 And voila....
Our cake. It has pineapple butterflies...

Strawberry fans (you can't see them very well but the
strawberrys are sliced into a pretty fan shape) ...

Well, that was that, i hope to do cooler cakes but this was a lot of fun and tastes YUM YUMMMM.
Keep following

English Doodles...

Hello,
Okay so maybe its not the best idea to doodle in english lessons, especially when learning Shakespeare's Macbeth, or maybe it is, seeing as i do know the story and have understood everything that is going on up till this point of our lesson and my english doodles are always my BEST. anyway, i've been very busy producing my latest piece of art work and finally it is COMPLETE and edited. So please enjoy.... :)

This is in the editing stage: notice my names still on!
Editing Part 2: notice two sides are stuck together and my names is disappearing :O

Final Complete work: notice NO NAME :D

I really want a Graphic Tablet, there's this really nice one from Wacom its £69.99 though, i might ask it for Christmas but i'll see. It'll make my drawing, designing and Cartooning life sooo much easier.

there it is, the one i want. I'm planning on making more cartoon book cover story' (i need to work on the name). Hopefully i can upload more on my blog then :D
