Patience, it's an art

Recently, i found the portfolio of an artist called Erik Johansson, its pretty deep stuff. Or at least i think. So i will give you the pleasure of seeing his photos and hopefully inspire you to think outside the box.

Go Your Own Road

Anlagd Översvämning : Artificial Flooding

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away

Arbeta på Havet : Working at the Sea

Lazy Dogs

Fresh Frozen Fish

Wet Dreams on Open Water

Zip City

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass... it’s about learning to dance in the rain

The greater the obstacle, the more glory in overcoming it.

Häng Havet på väggen : Hang the Sea on the Wall

Big Laundry Day

kk, those were kl, but this is just awsome.
Erik Johansson, created an opticall illusion somewhere in Stockholm where there appears to be a whole in the ground and one triangular tile is on the verge of falling of into the whole, he calls it...

'Mind your step'

That looks fun!
i see experimentation!

I added in a few quotes because i promised someone I'd make it inspirational, so there we go.

Baking is fun...

Hello,
Today my cousin and i decided to bake a cake, just for the fun of it. Last week, we attempted carrot cake, but it wasn't a great success because it tasted all floury and gooey and the icing wasn't too great either. So today we thought we'd keep it simple and we made a fresh cream cake, which by the way tastes YUM!
although we did learn that you should use Single Cream for the cream on the cake instead of double cream because that makes the cream to think and clumpy, but it tastes the same. Anyway, here are some pics of my fun baking time...

These are my flour domes...

or maybe i'll call them flour igloos

my mummy chopping mushrooms and my cousins mixing the batter...

 And voila....
Our cake. It has pineapple butterflies...

Strawberry fans (you can't see them very well but the
strawberrys are sliced into a pretty fan shape) ...

Well, that was that, i hope to do cooler cakes but this was a lot of fun and tastes YUM YUMMMM.
Keep following

English Doodles...

Hello,
Okay so maybe its not the best idea to doodle in english lessons, especially when learning Shakespeare's Macbeth, or maybe it is, seeing as i do know the story and have understood everything that is going on up till this point of our lesson and my english doodles are always my BEST. anyway, i've been very busy producing my latest piece of art work and finally it is COMPLETE and edited. So please enjoy.... :)

This is in the editing stage: notice my names still on!
Editing Part 2: notice two sides are stuck together and my names is disappearing :O

Final Complete work: notice NO NAME :D

I really want a Graphic Tablet, there's this really nice one from Wacom its £69.99 though, i might ask it for Christmas but i'll see. It'll make my drawing, designing and Cartooning life sooo much easier.

there it is, the one i want. I'm planning on making more cartoon book cover story' (i need to work on the name). Hopefully i can upload more on my blog then :D

I'm speechless...

Hi
Wow, its been a long time. I'm meant to be doing my DT homework, but lets say this an further extension of it. So, today in DT we had to make mood boards for inspiration when it came to designing our chairs and we had to choose a style period from history. I've decided to stick with Surrealism, although my other option was Art Nouveau, i just think you can be REALLY creative with surrealism. Anyway, more to the point as i was wasting time for a good reason - i was picking letters for my Surrealism Title, they're all different so as to look surreal and weird. As i was doing that randre, my DT & AS Computing buddy decided to show me this amazing artist/ photographer/creative guy (not sure what he fits in really, all of them i guess) called Carl Warner, as she was wondering whether his work was surrealism. In the end we found out that it was and randre was annoyed that she hadn't chosen that style. OH WELL, now i can use his images ( should i feel bad?)
Anywhooo, so i would like to give credits before you see his images soooo

CREDITS:
Lechar Swerdna   -  for introducing me to this guys amazing mind and work
Carl Warner         -  for having an amazingly imaginative mind and producing his astounding work
(maybe he should go at the top, oh well. Here are some of my fave's)

London :)

CHOCOLATE LAND

This is one of my favourites :D

This is randre's favourite :D

This one's called 'Lake District Cheesescape'

The sea waves are red cabbage leaves!

This is another favourite, i think the  dangly bits are carrots :)

As much as i love it, its a wast of chocolate cake. I think the sea is salmon.

The sea is made out of fish!!! This is actually a video and it looks absolutely amazing.

I actually saw a programme where he made this foodscape.

He also does adds, although i think the fish looks slightly out of place.

Courgette State Building...

He also has lots of videos, i especially like this one because the palm trees are made out of paperclips, but i cant put the actual  video on, he's it can't be embedded so here's the link.
The link to his website is http://www.carlwarner.com/, where there are 4 folders of his foodscape work and more kl videos. I think his work is fun to look at too, i mean guessing and figuring out what food he used for in what, its really inspiring. I'm hoping it will inspire some imaginative chair ideas from me. We shall wait and see.
...

anyway, keeping following, havent said that in a while. i hope to do another post soon about peacocks and my late obsession over them. YAY.
