So yh I got contacts!
I have to admit I was quite a pro while the optician was teaching me to put them in and take them out - surprisingly im better at the taking out part :P but this morning when I attempted very bravely to put my lenses in, the lens just would NOT BUDGE... it's as though it decided to be BFFL with my finger and it didn't help that on top my mum - the real pro at lenses - was behind me telling me I was doing everything WRONG. In the end I sent her out the bathroom and what do you know, the next second the lens was happily sitting in my eye :) sounds a bit gory when you read it.. sorry about that.
It is such a wonderful experience to see the world without having to constantly shift your glasses up your nose or remove the irritating things before taking a photo :)
Also recently, a friend and I made the decision to become a little more proactive and we are now involved in WOHAA which aims to raise money for the Wings of Hope Charity. I will do a separate blog post about this because it is a very important organisation :)

I tend to post random pics from here and there in my life :) I wish I blogged like I instagram :P one day :D one day!
